And honestly, we can't do it alone.Our team is looking for innovative, enthusiastic, and versatile data, digital, and AI professionals that will drive us forward on this exciting venture.How You'll Make an ImpactPart of the global team and engagement in product and project management work and collaborate closely with other members of the product team to better understand the product, provide product insight and recommendations for improvementRequirement to communicate the idea and then demonstrate the ability to mockup the design architecture as well as communicating this model whilst being aware of the requirementsApply expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and understand the productsResponsibility for building strong business relationships, understanding their needs and translating the requirements and having the ability to balance requirements of the business need with business valueDefine and analyze metrics that inform the success of products and allow us to monitor the heath of D&A products adoption in the markets we serveInfluence and inform product teams through presentation of data-based recommendation through mock up design and IBCSKeeping up to date of latest developments in data science principles, theories, and techniques to support the business in making truly data-driven decisions as well as document and share methods, processes, project results and regularly communicating and presenting the resultsJoin an inspiring team of real data science thought leaders and experts within the ED&AA global team and make a valuable contributionWhat You Bring Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer science, mathematics, engineering, physics or related and minimum 5 years' experience as a solution architect or comparable roleLongstanding hands-on experience working collaboratively with product team members such as product management, engineering, design, data science, data engineering or similar and experience of working directly with clients, translating their needs and building strong relationshipsExcellent analytical skills and profound expertise in making data-driven decisions and communicating the results of analyses and knowledge in the application of statistics (e.g. hypothesis testing, product experimentation, regressions, experimentation logic and biases) and experience in using statistical software (SAS, Pivot Tables) or related methodsExperience with product optimization work i.e. funnel/website optimization and/or outbound communication channels like email or push notifications and skills in programming language (Python, SQL etc).Deep knowledge in AWS and experience in designing solutions that include AWS services, experience in an industry-related environment (e.g. energy sector) is an advantageStrong customer orientation, open-mindedness and willingness to learn, continuous development of own skills, excellent communication skills and ease of getting along in a global and multicultural environmentResult-driven and excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills as well as passionate about data and analytics, and driving data value across all parts of an organization and ecosystemsFluency in both spoken and written English, knowledge of German or any other language is a plusAbout the Team In our Business Functions we enable our organization to reach their targets by providing best-in class services and solutions in the areas of IT, HR, Finance, Real Estate, Strategy & Technology and more.At Siemens Energy, we are more than just an energy technology company.
