Role Overview: Support CAD users of Engineering IT systems on multiple sites. Key expert user for Engineering CAD systems and Integration with PDM. Interact with downstream functions (Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and others) to support business solutions in the context of the PLM system.
Key Responsibilities: Develop CAD WOW in line with Engineering requirementsMonitor, test, plan and execute roll-out of CAD Software updates and upgrades Escalate issues that cannot be resolved by 1st and 2nd-level supportConfiguration, installation and maintenance of Engineering Software according to the GKN Automotive guidelines Work with the Data Center IT function to ensure CAD-related systems in the PDM context work properlyAct as the communication channel between site(s) and global PLM expertsSupport CAD Data Exchange with customers and suppliersLiaise with other function on CAD-related topicsTo be successful in this position, you will have: Expert knowledge of Creo ParametricThorough knowledge of other CAD software (CATIA, Autocad) Good understanding of Windchill PDM and related CAD data managementGood Microsoft Office skillsEducation: Master's Degree or Equivalent Level.Preferred: local language and English language skills.Our Offer: Join us in a multicultural environment, contributing to all phases of a global project.
