Job Description Summary This role will be integral in developing data and sales tools to support our antiperspirant product line. You will design experimentation on the bench with conventional and/or non-conventional/creative approaches that will lead to unique product claims and benefits (with new formula bases, raw ingredients and processing techniques)You will communicate data both internally and externally.You will practice safe laboratory procedures: understanding equipment and instructions, practice safe material handling and adhere to lab safety guidelines.Decision makingTypically, you have the authority to make decisions related to methodologies and research approaches. Technical Knowledge and SkillsAdvanced understanding of antiperspirant formulation developmentIntermediate knowledge of standard testing procedures for personal care industryIntermediate knowledge of personal care and AP/DEO industry key market trendsPosition RequirementsEducation: A bachelors degree or higher in a life scienceExperience: 3+ years experience in antiperspirant formulating and/or ingredient testing IT Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, with a strong capability for presentation creation, Project management softwareLanguage Skills: Verbal and written fluency in which language(s) English, Portuguese.Working arrangements: Lab position, on site 5 days weeklyTraveling required: Trade shows, customer visits as required.
