To support our Sales Department with market analysis, price strategies and revenue management, we are looking for a qualified and motivated
The Torel Boutiques Revenue Manager reports to the Director of Sales. He/she also informs the CEO, Board and the Focal Point for Communications about any important developments, and shares his/her reports with them.
Duties and responsibilities:
Determine and set room rates and other prices in order to keep hotels competitive and earn revenue.Develop pricing strategies, including building rates for rooms and packages and determining discounts and specialty rates.Assist in creating promotional campaigns in order to generate business, work with front desk personnel to track customer trends and reservations, and communicate with sales teams to gather sales figures.Forecast future demand, pricing trends and revenue based on demand and market trends.2. Conduct Competition and Market Analysis
Evaluate the prices of their competition on a daily basis.Analyse economic trends to determine the demand for hotel reservations based on tourism and business travel.Evaluate trends in the economy and hospitality industry and report regularly.Create a budget and use accounting processes to determine the hotel's revenue after expenditures.Report financial information to general managers and make suggestions for increasing revenue through changes in pricing and efforts to generate more business.Generate daily and weekly reports regarding revenue developments and market trends.Requirements:
University degree in Management, Finance, Business, or a related analytical field.Proven work experience of 2 years minimum in Revenue Management.Familiarity with OTA's, extranets and channel manager.Expert knowledge of Excel (mandatory), with the ability to translate analysis into actions.Strategic and analytical vision.Strong competence in yield management.Written and verbal communication skills are a must, as Revenue Managers typically conduct meetings and submit reports.Attention to detail, above-average math skills and the ability to meet deadlines.Proactive in researching market trends and making suggestions for Sales, Communications, and Operations.The position is based in Porto and requires flexible working hours.
