As the Procurement Manager, you will oversee all procurement processes, incl. planning, managing, and executing procurement to drive short, mid, and long-term results. You will collaborate with the CTO and other stakeholders to optimize procurement strategies, negotiate contracts, and maintain supplier relationships. You will also work closely with the project and engineering teams, and Lithium's COO.Manage the entire request for proposal (RFP) process, from identifying needs to developing the proposal and identifying and contracting the supplier;Adapt group policies and manuals to Lifthium needs and continuously update as business needs change;Closely collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate needs into technical requirements for RFPs;Evaluate potential suppliers, vendors, and contractors and negotiate purchase orders and contracts including terms and conditions, pricing, and scope of work;Monitor and manage supplier performance, and supplier relationships, including contract renewals, performance reviews, and issue resolution;Be creative and propose alternative solutions/suppliers to solve problems, save costs and improve processes;Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company policies throughout the procurement processRequirementsMSc degree in areas related to Supply Chain Management, Business or related field;10+ years of experience in procurement and contracting roles, preferably within lithium or chemicals industry;Proven experience in designing, negotiating and managing large contracts with suppliers and contractors, and managing complex supplier relationships;Ability to ensure compliance and accuracy in contract management, collaborating and coordinating stakeholders and cross-functional teams;Creative and collaborative mindset to work closely with several stakeholders, and an enthusiastic team player;Passionate innovator that always sees the solution;Proficient in written and spoken English and PortugueseBenefitsWe are a merit-based organization, recognizing impact and results of our teams.As a full-time employee, you will get a competitive pay and a broad benefits program.
