Overall responsibilities and duties:The role of the Network Design Project Director is to animate the Transportation Projects (including Network Design, X-Dock implementation, Packaging Density Optimization, Master data) in the defined region and to coordinate the implementations of the multi-BGs actions.The main missions of the role are:Animate Network Design Project in the region and support the BGs to converge towards the savings targets. Lead and coordinate the cross-BGs initiatives (with a special focus on X-Dock deployment, shared flows between BGs and cross-BG synergies)Animate the other transportation projects in the Region (Packaging Density Optimization, Packaging Master Data…)Ensure that the arbitration between transport and inventory is properly done in the region (following Group guidelines) Train and support the Route Engineers in the frame on the Network Design projectEnsure that the performance is properly reported in the regionEnsure the right communication on Packaging Master data cleansing Ensure transversalization of best practices from Other region (Europe)QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have/be: Possess at-least a Bachelors degreein industrial, transport, or supply-chain management, Masters degree preferred.Experience8 years minimum of experience in automotive industryExperience in plant operationsPC& LProject ManagementLogistics ManagementSupply Chain Mitigation and ManagementExperience in procurement/transportation managementSkills and competenciesEnglish + native language (+ other languages as a plus)Multi-functional & Multi-cultural communication, overseas experience a plusSAP and TMS tools knowledgeLeadership / Team spirit / Autonomy / Openness to new ideas / Resiliency Network animation, coaching and influencing/persuasion skillsDeveloped communication skills, ability to negotiate mainly internally and often at higher levelsOrganizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneouslyProblem Diagnosis and analytic skills to understand contexts and define/support the definition of action plansContinuous improvement mind-setAvailability to travel (> 75%)#J-18808-Ljbffr
