Job DescriptionLegal counseling and advising of EC Business Advisories and operative functions ( R&D, M&A, Finance, Group Customs, Sales, PUR) in all Export Control and Sanctions laws (global) with focus on operational topics.Legal advice for relevant GRC and TCEC reporting.Legal standardization of EC-relevant contract clauses and documents as well as regulatory watch and respective information Management. Furthermore, development and implementation of an EC contractual management concept.Setup, implementation and maintenance of export control strategies and policies for exports to sensitive countries.Supervision and coordination regarding EC license applications.Instructing, supervising, and supporting business partner assessments as well as evaluating listing reasons and possible impacts.Implementation and management of countermeasures due to compliance findingsLegal EC checks prior to publication by EC Group Functions (Newsletters / ConNext / Intranet / MS Teams / SharePoint)QualificationsAcademic degree in law (Bachelor and or Master) or similar fieldExperience as a fully qualified lawyer in a law firm, corporation, or bothSeveral years of experience with Compliance Program (ICP) for Export Control and Sanctions incl. respective global Policies and Standards (Governance) Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to write clearly and prepare professional communications.
