We are looking for an experienced and meticulous In Process Control Analyst to ensure the quality and consistency of our cannabis production processes. The ideal candidate will have a basic background in analytical chemistry, quality control, and compliance within the cannabis/food/pharmaceutical industry. The In Process Control Analyst will play a crucial role in monitoring and maintaining quality standards throughout various stages of production, from cultivation to processing.Responsibilities:o Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.o Perform in-process testing and analysis of cannabis products using various analytical techniques such as qPCR (quantitative Polymerase Chain Reaction) and PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction).o Monitor environmental conditions, including particle counts, free chlorine to maintain optimal growing and processing conditions.o Collect and analyze data to identify trends, deviations, and opportunities for process improvement.o Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including cultivation, and processing, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.o Maintain accurate records of all testing activities, including test results, protocols, and equipment calibration logs.o Participate in the development and validation of new analytical methods and procedures.o Train production staff on quality control protocols, procedures, and best practices.o Assist with investigations of quality-related incidents and non-conformances and recommend corrective and preventive actions.o Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to quality control and in-process testing.o Assist with other company operations as required.Profile: o Bachelor's degree in microbiology or chemistry. o Master's degree in relevant field is preferred but not a requirement. o Analytical skills are required. o Knowledgeable over data collection and analysis techniques.o Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry. o Proficiency in English.
