The Workday Time & Absence Analyst will contribute to the delivery of high quality and timely service to cross-functional organizations. As part of the Time and Absence product team, the Workday Time & Absence Analyst will support implementation of system configuration updates while contributing to HR Technology Release planning, analysis, and deployment for the functional area of responsibility.The Workday Time & Absence Analyst will report to the Sr Manager HR Systems & Solutions based in Tampa, FL.Key Activities for the Workday Time & Absence Analyst include:Serve as the key Workday configuration expert for time tracking and absence module.Collaborate with HR, payroll, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system configurations and workflows related to time tracking, scheduling, and absence management.Conduct system testing and validation activities for Workday updates and enhancements related to time and absence functionality, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.Responsible for successful implementation of new functionality and/or processes within project timelines.Contribute to research, evaluation, planning, design, and deploying technology-related HR initiatives.Support other functional areas such as Core HCM, Recruitment, and Talent/Performance as necessary.Work with HR Technology service provider for complex project implementations.Apply Amgen's Information Security and Privacy policies, standards, and processes to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of our HR data.Assist in development of training materials and partner in change management efforts and organizational readiness.Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to time and absence management and Workday functionality.WINWhat we expect of youBasic QualificationsMaster's degreeORBachelor's degree and 2 years of HR Information Systems (HCM) experienceORAssociate's degree and 6 years of HR Information Systems (HCM) experienceORHigh school diploma / GED and 8 years of HR Information Systems (HCM) experience.THRIVEWhat can you expect of usPreferred Qualifications4+ years of experience with Workday, focusing on Configuration, Reporting, and Business Process administration.Demonstrated success in managing projects related to HR Technology in a fast-paced, Agile Environment.Proficient in implementing new HR Technology solutions, optimizing business processes, and improving workflow efficiency.Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Track record of delivering successful outcomes in both HR and IT environments, with a focus on enhancing the overall user experience.APPLY NOWFOR A CAREER THAT DEFIES IMAGINATIONIn our quest to serve patients above all else, Amgen is the first to imagine, and the last to doubt.
