Who We're Looking ForOur goal is to build the best People & Talent team in healthtech, and we are only as good as our people. Ensuring our people at Sword have the best framework and support is key to our success. We currently have a head of Talent and are also hiring a head of People Operations, but we are missing a critical role. Our VP of People Partnership. This role will be based in Portugal, will support both US and Portugal teams, and will report to the Chief Legal and People Officer. What You'll Be Doing•Evaluate current People Partner function and identify areas of strength and opportunities; including processes, policies, and programs including employee relations and mobility•Lead, coach and develop our People Partner team in the US and in Portugal•Create and deliver a People Partner strategy that supports business priorities and growth strategies•Provide guidance on organizational design, career leveling, talent development and change management for senior leaders across the organization•Provides support for all people leaders and employees related to leading employee relations matters in partnership with our Employee •Relations function, championing the various enterprise wide solutions for learning & development (in partnership with L&D leader) and employee listening, reinforcing and guiding employees through our self service solutioning model for general inquiries where appropriate•Acts as a primary point of contact for our People Partner and Business Ops teams on program delivery issues and customizations for the business they support•Conducts talent audits and ensures appropriate plans are in place•Shares local intelligence and provides any "market intel or internal insights" on the effectiveness of programs and initiatives•Provides advice, coaching and support to executives, managers and employees on development, employee relations, workforce planning and rewards, structure or leveling issues•Responsible for the management and delivery of core People Partner programs business group; partners closely with other PPs to ensure seamless delivery•Provides in-depth market insight and advises on talent implications of external trends that may have workforce implications•Serves as subject matter expert on the local labor market and regulatory environment•Collaborate with the VP of Talent Acquisition and VP of People Operations to ensure all HR policies, processes, and procedures are strategically aligned, updated, accessible, and ensure operational efficiency, effectiveness, and an optimal employee experience•Provide employee relations support to leadership, and staff, counseling employees on work-related issues while interpreting and applying organizational policies•Review and refresh of career paths, progression and leveling in partnership with VP of People Ops.•Ensure transparent and consistent communication with employees and leadership throughout the lifecycle of employment to build trust and promote an inclusive and supportive work culture•Responsible for providing effective performance feedback for direct reports by establishing clear goals and expectations, including adherence to standards;
