Technical Software Engineering Lead

At Tech Company (Contractor) Expires at: 2024-07-12 Remote policy: Global remote About the project Given our growth projections, we plan to open our first non-US office by Q2 2024. As a critical first step, we will hire a technical software engineering lead (employee number #1). Role and Responsibilities Recruit, lead, and manage a team of driven software engineers Develop and foster world-class modern development best practices  Provide seasoned technical direction and guidance for the engineering team  Nurture a culture of ownership and technical excellence   Work with product, customer success, and commercial to ensure requirements are over-delivered Track and manage the successful delivery of software and key results Main requirements 7+ years of experience in software development and technical leadership Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related field 5+ years of experience with agile software methodologies 5+ years of React , Vue , or related technologies 5+ years of Python 3+ years of working in an early-stage startup (< Series B) Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Strong real-world coding skills (we will provide backend and frontend tests) Design and develop complex systems (distributed, eventing, trading, ML)
