As a Senior Tech Project Manager you'll play a key role in our innovative team dedicated to creating exceptional experiences for our global customers.
From powering platforms like NBCUniversal 's Peacock in the U nited S tates to Sky 's NOW, and SkyShowtime across Europe, and now Showmax in over 40 countries in Africa , one thing's for certain, your contributions will impact million s of viewers worldwide.
What You'll Do: As a T echnical Project Manager (TPM) will primarily manage projects and the roadmap of Sky products and work together with Delivery teams and Business, Product, Operations and Programme stakeholders.
As a T PM you will drive the project management tools and techniques for the different phases of the project lifecycle.
Facilitate and lead consistent project/program plans for cross-functional teams, leadership , and stakeholders on a daily, weekly , or monthly cadence as needed .
Proactively identify , manage, escalate , and mitigate program risks, issues , and dependencies .
Track actions and next steps after meetings and ensure on-time delivery of agreed-upon tasks (forecasts, timelines, milestones and deliverables).
Work closely with senior engineers to develop the best technical design and approach for new feature development , to deliver high-quality, scalable products deployed around the world.
Instil b est practices for software development and documentation, assure designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work on time.
The Project Manager will directly work with the area's Delivery Managers and Engineering Managers to achieve engineering excellence, the business goals and the project's delivery .
What You'll Bring: Bachelor's degree in comp uter science or equivalent combinatio n of technical education and work experience .
5 + years of professional experience .
3 + years of technical project management (or scrum master) working directly with software engineering teams .
Broad experience in project management, particularly in Agile environments .
A utonom ous and responsible for delivering agreed tasks .
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across time-zone and culture s ;
Extremely well o r ganized, punctual and methodical but keeping a pragmatic approach to solving problems .
A proactive and solution-oriented attitude .
Experience in OTT or Telco sectors desirable .
Position based in Lisbon with a h ybrid office presence.
Fluent in English.
