Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) is where it all started in Medtronic. We are designing, producing, selling, and servicing implants and technologies for cardiac rhythm disorders as well as heart failure. Examples are implantable monitors/loop recorders, pacemakers, cardiac defibrillators, telecardiology equipment. Innovation is key in Medtronic, and to optimally serve doctors and patients, the product pipeline is in continuous evolution. CRM is offering a wide product portfolio to electrophysiologists, (cardiac) surgeons, intensive care unit specialists, interventional cardiologists, and for state-of-the-art treatment of cardiac diseases.
In this exciting opportunity as a Technical Consultant CRM, you will provide expert technical support in the hospitals' operating rooms and remotely, as well as work with network of accounts, in order to expand the utilization of device therapies, diagnostics, and monitoring for the Cardiac Rhythm and Heart Failure disease management. You will also collect market intelligence data, follow, and report competition activities.
The working territory will be South of Portugal and you should be based in Lisbon.
A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
•    Providing technical support to physicians in the operating room in the hospitals during Pacemaker and Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillator implants and diagnostic procedures.
•    Providing remote support and troubleshooting on Medtronic CRM devices.
•    Advising referring physicians on company products, therapies, and services to optimize patient outcomes.
•    Building strong and lasting relationships with key decision makers.
•    Educating referring physicians on clinical evidence of defined therapies to demonstrate improved patient outcomes.
•    Carrying out all administrative duties and reports.
•    Collaborating with marketing and sales team to execute annual plan
Must Haves
•    University degree in Health sciences (biomedical engineering, electrical, IT, natural sciences, or other relevant degree)
•    At least 5 year of experience
•    Willingness to work with physicians, nurses, and hospital technicians
•    Willingness to provide expert technical support in the operating room in the hospitals
•    Fluent English and Spanish (both written and spoken)
•    Communication skills and motivation to build strong business relationship with customers; Computer literacy
•    Clean driving license; Willingness to travel intensively
•    Teamwork, proactivity and focus on delivering results
•    "Fast-mind" with technology
