Supply Chain Digital Transformation Director - Space Industry Join our Client a leading Swiss Space Technology Company making waves in the New Space sector! Operating in 6 countries, they are the international preferred supplier of structures for launch vehicles and a leader in satellite products. As the set up in the Portuguese market, they are seeking a dynamic Supply Chain Digital Transformation Director to lead the Global Supply Chain management team. Responsibilities Act as a responsive business partner for programs, managing direct materials, CAPEX, and supplier integration; Implement best practices, act as a change agent, and develop category management strategies; Define and manage the supplier portfolio, continuously optimizing total cost of ownership; Develop a roadmap for data analytics and system landscape in Ons supply chain, leveraging existing platforms including Microsoft D365, Anaplan, InforNexus, Google Bigquery and Looker; Establish a Supply Chain CoE focusing on long-range strategic planning, KPIs, end-to-end cross-functional processes and strategic initiatives; Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers; Collaborate closely with Ons Technology, PMO, Sourcing, Finance and Regional Operations teams and inspire cross functional project teams to bring operational excellence to the next level; Manage Supply Chains project portfolio, PMO and software budget - As a key leader in Ons extended leadership team, champion, safeguard and evolve Ons unique culture, as we continue to grow and ignite more human spirits through movement. Requirements Bacherlors or Masters degree in Engineering or Logistics; More than 7 years has Supply Chain Manager/Director in aerospace, defense, aeronautics or automotive sectores (required); Experience leading a high-performing supply chain transformation team; Experience with procurement technologies and software solutions; Success in developing and implementing automation strategies; Understanding of compliance, risk management, and regulatory requirements (Aerospace and Defense industries a plus); Experience in negotiating complex contracts and managing supplier relationships; Experience in SAP Ariba and SAP S/4 HANA are a plus; High degree of assertiveness, decisiveness, and curiosity; Excellent communication, social skills, and extensive linguistic ability; Strong intrinsic motivation and mentality to welcome challenges; Cooperative leader with a focus on team success; Open-minded, strong communicator, and networker; High stress resistance and perseverance in a complex environment; 'Self-made' person with an enthusiastic nature.
