Manufacturing and Global Procurement > Global Supply Chain & Transport > Strategic Sales and Operations Management Department The Strategic Sales and Operations Management Department is responsible for aligning the Sales and Operations functions within Vestas so to enhance overall effectiveness and efficiency. It involves Global as well as Regional cross-functional collaboration between the Key functions of Sales, Operations and Finance in order to develop comprehensive plans that integrates Sales forecasts with Operations Capabilities. Our Primary goal is to ensure that the organization can meet customer demands while optimizing resources and reducing cost and working capital exposure.
Responsibilities You will become a valued part of the Strategic Sales and Operations Management team, where you will work with colleagues from around the world in optimizing, enabling and creating the best possible supply and demand plans and scenarios. You will create value by bridging the ever-changing Global Supply Chain and Sales demand on a mid- and long-term Horizon. This means:
You will analyze both the Supply and Demand development regionally and globally for the coming 18 to 72 months and create plans for optimizing bothYou will work cross-functionally to create impact analysis of the plans and actions aimed at achieving the plansYou will work with the rest of the team in optimizing the Global Portfolio of Projects, so to ensure the best possible setup and allocationYou will work both globally and regionally to develop Transparency, Tools and approaches to become even better at balancing between our Supply and DemandYou will work with colleagues in our regions to predicting, mitigating and optimizing future Opportunities and RisksQualifications Our new colleague preferably possesses some or more of the following capabilities and experience:
2-3 years' experience in operating Strategic Sales and Operations planning (Demand and Supply) OR a relevant degree in Supply Chain Operations, Finance, Sales or Procurement on a Bachelor levelExperience with Project planning is desirable but not a requirementHaving worked in an international company with both Global and regional stakeholdersProficiency in advanced excel (Macros, Functions and Power Query etc.) and familiarity with SAP Analysis for excelFundamental knowledge of SAP Analytics cloud (SAC) and other visualization tools such as Power BI/Tableau is desirableKnowledge around "Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning" based supply chain planning solutions is not a must but a benefit we would like to add to the departmentCompetencies As a person, you are:
