We're gearing up to take our brand to even greater heights!The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Supplier Manager to ensure that we extract the best value from our vendors/suppliers and to manage and analyse their performance. The aim is to provide a world-class procurement service that offers a competitive advantage to 1GLOBAL. This role operates within a highly matrixed structure, collaborating closely with both country and global functional teams.What you will do:• To streamline procurement processes on behalf of business partners, pro-actively seeking out and owning process efficiencies within end to end supply chains to increase their efficiency and effectiveness.• Supplier performance management, managing SLAs and managing the relationship with the suppliers.• Ensuring professional procurement and management of tenders seeking out the best suppliers • To work closely with internal business partners to understand their requirements, mapping these to the 1GLOBAL strategy. • To lead procurement plans appropriate to their product and services deliver maximum commercial advantage to 1GLOBAL.• To negotiate appropriate commercial and contractual arrangements with suppliers and for all products and services in their control.• To initiate and develop creative and innovative procurement processes.• To lead complex procurement negotiations and be directly involved in major supplier negotiations.• To manage their supply base to ensure delivery against contractual and commercial commitments.• To centralise all vendor liaisons in order to maximise volume commercial deals • To take personal ownership for utilisation of contracts ensuring order channel strategy enables internal business partners to order items efficiently and contracts reflect customer requirements for their duration.• To input to the future direction of the procurement function.• To be accountable for managing team within budget parameters.RequirementsWhat you will bring:· 5 years or more of experience in procurement and supplier management in the telecommunications / technology industry or a similar field.· Responsibility for complex, high value/risk contracts.· Relevant commercial skills with substantial and knowledge of procurement principles and the ability to apply these as required in any area. · Able to operate with a high degree of autonomy.· Contributes to the definition of processes, policy and business strategy.· Strong negotiation skills.· Confident and professional communication skills.· Demonstrable leadership and excellent relationship management skills.· Professionally qualified (CIPS or equivalent), or ideally educated to degree level· Excellent English and Portuguese written and spoken communication skills for both technical and business audiences.BenefitsWhy 1GLOBAL?
