The Role We're in search of a talented Supplier Controller to join our Procurement team in Lisbon. In this role, you'll support the Supplier Manager in costs and budgets, fostering collaboration across internal and external stakeholders to ensure expenditures adhere to the plan. You'll play a key role in supporting department heads by contributing to annual budget forecasts, offering strategic recommendations, and pinpointing potential gaps. Conducting thorough research to forecast future financial and business scenarios will also be part of your responsibilities.
Furthermore, you'll be instrumental in managing both the commercial and operational relationships with our existing suppliers, while also identifying and onboarding new suppliers when needed. You'll be tasked with auditing contract fulfillment, evaluating customer satisfaction, and assessing supplier performance to rank them accordingly.
What you will do: · Support in articulating the CAPEX and OPEX plan.
· Assist the Supplier Manager in budget forecasting and budget control.
· Track expenditures, conduct financial reporting analysis, identify trends, improvements, and provide recommendations.
· Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure commercial and operational alignment.
· Adhere to existing business processes regarding approvals and planning matters.
· Audit contract obligations and fulfillment.
· Maintain updated supplier and contract databases.
· Track and evaluate the performance of technology suppliers.
· Foster strong interaction with the Legal and Financial departments.
Requirements What you will bring: · Experience in supplier management, procurement management, or similar roles.
· Strong knowledge of contract management.
· Experience working in a purchasing department or a related function.
· Excellent organisational skills and highly process-oriented.
· Strong analytical and organisational capabilities.
· Ability to deliver quality results.
· Ability to handle crisis situations.
· Strong Excel skills, with good knowledge of Excel formulas and macros.
· Excellent judgment, demonstrating logical decision-making and a hands-on approach.
· Excellent written and spoken English and Portuguese communication skills for both technical and business audiences.
