Structural Maintenance Technician

Opportunity: Structural Technician for a Global Logistics Innovator

Responsibilities: Extensive travel to perform duties, including flying to depots to evaluate and document damages on products. Making decisions on the repairability of damaged parts in the field and defining necessary materials and equipment for repairs. Researching local potential suppliers near depot locations. Directly planning and proceeding with on-site repairs, documenting repair procedures, and creating detailed reports. Supporting other technicians in the field or remotely as necessary. Profile sought: Degree: Versatile technician with experience in composite and metallic structures. Experience: Proficient in remote installations, maintenance jobs, and repair processes (lamination, infusion, patching, filling, grinding, cutting, welding, riveting, bolting). Skills: Excellent understanding of procedures, work instructions, and drawings; good communication skills; fluency in English. Knowledge in composites repair processes, lamination, infusion, patching and filling Knowledge of metallic structures repairing, grinding, cutting, welding, riveting, bolting Ability to repair damaged parts in the field, with carry-on equipment Capacity to evaluate damages, document the situation and evaluate if repair is feasible or not Able to understand procedures, work instructions and drawings Licenses: Valid driver's license (cat. B).
Nice to have: Familiarity with common power tools (e.g., drill driver, riveting gun). Welding certification or willingness to be certified. Creativity in problem-solving and improvisation.
