Currently, we have more than 270,000 team members in nearly 50 countries, operating in sectors such as aeronautics, automotive, communications, energy, life sciences, software & internet, space & defense, and consumer products.Your MissionWe are looking for motivated Engineers with experience in Structural & FEA to strengthen our teams in the energy sector.Join a team responsible for the design of a wind turbine component.Be an innovator in developing new calculation methods to meet design situations and fulfill product and technology roadmaps.Perform FE simulations and assist in developing/optimizing design methods and processes.Support project scope definition, resources planning, and technical risk mitigation.Analyze complex data by combining large data sets.Perform object-oriented and scripted programming to analyze big data and complex FE problems.Contribute to product development milestone reviews.Provide feedback and challenge design solutions to optimize final product design.Understand and specify structural requirements.Conduct finite element analysis to ensure requirements.Design and optimize product performance and reliability with simulation.Develop innovative structural solutions to improve component performance, reliability, and cost.Your ProfileYour Profile: BSc/MSc/Ph.D. within Mechanical or Aerospace engineering or similar. Minimum of 4 years of experience in structural design in the context of steel structures. Experience in Structural analyses using FE tools. Skilled in using Tools, such as: Ansys WorkBench, Ansys Parametric Design Language (APDL). Experience in FEA (Finite Element Analysis); Experience in Stress Engineering (is a plus). Profound knowledge of buckling, fatigue, welded and bolted connections. Experience in diligently loaded structures design. Technical leadership & Project management skills are preferred. Ability to work in a multinational environment. Availability to travel occasionally to different factories in different countries.
