We are looking for a talented mixed-methods Senior User Experience (UX) Researcher to join the Randstad team. This contract role will be embedded within a large pharmaceutical client, providing a unique opportunity to directly influence the future direction of key products and services. As part of our team, you will collaborate closely with a Lead Designer, client stakeholders, and other Randstad researchers and designers to champion the needs of users every step of the way.
As a Senior UX Researcher, you will lead mixed-methods research projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and facilitate generative research activities to inform product and service design. You will utilize your expertise in user-centered design and data analysis to deliver actionable insights that shape design and strategy. Additionally, you will flex beyond research duties when needed to contribute to wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing efforts.
Responsibilities
Lead mixed-methods research projects to uncover user insights and drive informed design decisions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute high-impact research studies, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategy.Facilitate generative research activities, ideation workshops, and other human-centered design exercises to inform product and service design.Create actionable user journey maps, flow diagrams, and service blueprints to visualize research findings and guide design direction.Utilize rigorous data analysis techniques to deliver research findings effectively to diverse audiences, shaping design and strategy.Flex beyond research duties when necessary to contribute to wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing efforts.Identify opportunities for research topics and questions through close collaboration with clients, focusing on business impact and strategy. your profile
Requirements
8+ years of corporate UX research experience.5+ years of experience conducting complex end-to-end user-centric research using various methods.Proficiency in tools such as Optimal Workshop, Figma, and Qualtrics.Solid understanding of wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.Expertise in visual tools including Figma, Sketch, Invision, Adobe XD, and others.Strong grasp of user-centered design (UCD), rapid prototyping, usability, and accessibility concerns.Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate research findings clearly and compellingly.Proven ability to execute at a high level in a remote environment, with consistent internet connectivity and daily schedule.Passion for user-centered design with a focus on simplicity, elegance, and minimalism.Experience working in a consulting or agency environment.Comfortable operating in an Agile environment and executing research sprints.Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to perform under tight timelines and changing environments.Natural leadership abilities with a collaborative spirit and openness to feedback.Languages:
