Nortempo Porto is currently looking for a Senior Buyer (m/f) for a client in the area of Porto.RESPONSIBILITIES & MAIN TASKS• Negotiate frame agreements and supply contracts for the Units in Region 2, to ensure best value in term of costs, quality and delivery of products material and services for a defined category.• Consolidate volumes and reduce supply base of the SBM Operations.• Implement strategy via Shorebase buyers• Provide full contract/agreement packages (including Business case, Service Level Agreements, Contracted Terms and conditions, etc.) to all shorebases on time.• Lead and support the Operations on sourcing and contracting decisions in the commodity and be the preferred point of contact for purchasing projects related the commodity.• Maintain Purchasing performance indicators as defined by Supply Chain Management on given commodity, and report with Shorebase Buyers, SC Manager and Category Managers on monthly basis.• Monitor supplier performance according to SBM process.• Identify and deliver commercial savings opportunities according to annual targets.• Be the focal point of contact for Units managers of the Region for Purchasing and Service Frame Agreement of the defined category.JOB REQUIREMENTS Specific skills / expertise / product:• Engineer profile or Buyer directly involved with procurement of industrial mechanical parts / Services (Example: Complete equipment's [pumps, turbines, diesel engines, motors etc.])• Education: engineering or business degree in mechanics• Ideal if technical knowledge and capability to understand drawings, technical offers vs requirements• Results oriented and "solution provider profile"• Strong written and oral communications skills• Ability to build relationship and partnerships within SBM Operations team• Cross functional business team environment experience preferred• Strong leadership skill: ability to lead, influence and motivate• International mind set, overseas environment experience preferred• Preferred industrial backgrounds: Oil & gas, Petrochemicals, Cement plants, manufacturing• Fluent in EnglishOFFER- International and friendly working environment- Hybrid regime (2 day at home per week)- Contract for 2 years (possibility of getting a direct contract from our client)#J-18808-Ljbffr
