After securing the insurance capacity from multiple carriers globally. Jove has built a unique borderless business liability insurance with monthly subscription, global coverage, and the ability to pause the policy when workers are in between projects. In addition, we have built a unique AI insurance validation model making mandatory insurance check at candidate onboarding instant and to offer workers fit for purpose insurance when they don't have sufficient cover, and to capture valuable data for underwriting purpose. Jove is licensed as an insurance agent & MGA across UK, Europe and all 50 states in the US. Our AI validation model has been embedded into large ATS platforms such as Bullhorn, Mercury and Deel, with more than half of the global ATS/ HRIS platforms signing the partnership contract. Furthermore, the products from our MGA line can be offered to thousands of agencies and brokers to distribute across UK and Europe through a digital portal. You'll be one of the early employees when we scale our business and revolutionize the insurance industry for contractors and SMEs. Our tech stack ~ TypeScript, React, React Native, Python, Rust, Postgres, RabbitMQ, Google Cloud About the Role: The Senior Scrum Master owns the sprint cycles making sure releases happen on time and promoting continuous communication; as well as monitoring and helping improve team dynamics. Utilize your influence, leadership, project management skills, and knowledge of Agile, to deliver customer value and to increase the effectiveness and velocity of the teams. Main requirements Responsibilities: Understands Agile values and principles and can guide teams on how to use Agile/Scrum practices. Facilitate and execute Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint demos sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Facilitate discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution. Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised and resolved. Support the Development Team by removing impediments and ensuring that progress can be made. Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and information radiation. Promote a collaborative and self-organizing environment to enhance team efficiency. Proactively identify and mitigate risks using Agile best practices. Monitor productivity using KPI and delivery metrics. Ensure team allocation to tasks. Carry out agile project management and guarantee deliveries. Ensure alignment of the team with the project objectives. Help to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with Product Owner stakeholders. Requirements Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business) or equivalent practical experience. Proven experience as a Project Manager or Scrum Master in software development or related projects. Strong knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum. Experience in Fintech or Insurtech preferred. Ability to foster a collaborative and team-oriented work environment. Problem-solving and conflict-resolution capabilities. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Experience with Agile PLM tools like JIRA . Understands backlog management, sprint tracking, Scrum and Kanban-based metrics, task definition, story splitting. Excellent communication and mentoring skills. Nice to have Bonus: Certification in Scrum (e.g., Certified Scrum Master - CSM) is a plus, but not mandatory.
