Overview In this Sr HR Business Partner level role, you will act as regional HR Partner for our Commercial Solutions teams in EMEA. You will support the continuous improvement of the HR function through development and implementation for all HR programs within EMEA. With guidance, you will also provide expertise, support and advice to assigned management teams regionally on a variety of topics related to human resources and performance management. The role is maternity leave cover / fixed term contract for 8 - 10 months. Responsibilities Act as an HR Partner for a matrixed client group of 1,000+ employees in various countries in the EMEA region Partner with country HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence and HR Professional Services Center to meet people agenda for assigned client group Lead HR processes for assigned client groups Lead implementation of process improvement activities related to HR systems, practices, procedures and compliance Support and coach managers to build leadership competence. Work in partnership with management to embed talent management processes ensuring career development of employees and succession for key roles Coach management to adopt a performance driven culture, advise on complex performance management challenges Provide input and assist in or lead efforts associated with change management efforts involving reorganizations, mergers/acquisitions and transfers to ensure compliance to local legislation. Support management with development of employee engagement initiatives and implementation of action plans Facilitate training sessions for management and employees Provide analysis and reports to make solid people decisions Provide guidance on all aspects related to people management (e.g. absenteeism, workforce planning, talent management and development) Skills and Abilities At least 4 - 5 years of proven experience across various aspects of human resources Experience in organizational design, integration, process improvement beneficial General awareness of European employment law and works council requirements Ability to work in a complex, matrixed setting, preferably in an international environment Competence to build and effectively manage stakeholder relationships at all levels Ability to lead and influence without direct authority Expert coaching and counselling skills Resilience and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple priorities Strong organization and project management skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail High level of discretion and confidentiality Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong delivery focus Excellent presentation and facilitation skills Ability to lead a project Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients IQVIA is a leading global provider of advanced analytics, technology solutions and clinical research services to the life sciences industry.
