Senior Delphi Developer

At Tech Company (Contractor), in Lisbon, Portugal Expires at: 2024-07-12 Remote policy: Full remote We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer with expertise in Delphi 5, Oracle, and Visual Basic 6 technologies. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of relevant experience and will play a key role in developing and maintaining software solutions for our clients. This is a remote position based in Portugal, with occasional trips to our offices in Lisbon or Ireland. Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain software applications using Delphi 5, Oracle, and Visual Basic 6. Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Implement best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation. Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing software applications. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment. Main requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Over 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Delphi 5 , Oracle , and Visual Basic 6 . Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Experience with Titan Word Doc Hybrid (Word 2010). Familiarity with source code repositories such as Azure Repo and Karinos . Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
