We leverage state of the art operations research and decision science to transform data products and predictions into automated decisions. Our decision models are integrated into user workflows to provide optimal business value under complex constraints. We offer a diverse and highly collaborative work environment with flexibility to suit your life.You willbe designing, building and maintaining optimisation and forecasting solutions which play a central role in our strategy to deliver logistics to our customers with minimal manual intervention. You will collaborate closely with other scientists and engineers focusing on analytics problems, in addition to collaborating with business stakeholders to ensure business processes and models fit together.There are a lot of interesting challenges ahead and we need your help.Your new teamWe are a cross-functional team of data scientists, decision scientists, data engineers and software engineersworking together tobuild reliable, performant and maintainable analytics software.We are accountable and proud of our work. We primarily use technologies such as python, pandas and pyspark, rely heavily on open source and build software we deploy using Github Actions and Docker onto Kubernetes clusters operated in the Microsoft Azure cloud.Key ResponsibilitiesUnderstand business problems and apply your expertise within robust optimisation and/or machine learning models and algorithms to design, implement, monitor, and iteratively improve on our suite of automation products.Have a continuous focus on providing business value, while ensuring technical sustainability (including maintainability, reliability, performance, availability and interpretability)
