Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and manage the cloud infrastructure for our company's applications and services. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide guidance on cloud infrastructure needs and scalability. - Deploy and configure cloud services and resources based on industry best practices, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. - Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. - Optimize the performance and cost efficiency of cloud infrastructure by monitoring resource utilization, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing appropriate optimizations. - Collaborate with software development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with the cloud infrastructure. - Implement and manage cloud security measures, including access controls, encryption, and vulnerability management. - Design and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for cloud-based systems. - Monitor the health, performance, and availability of cloud resources and take proactive measures to address issues and ensure service reliability. - Continuously evaluate and adopt new cloud technologies and services to drive innovation and improve efficiency. - Stay up to date with emerging cloud technologies, industry trends, and best practices. Main requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or related roles. Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (ex: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform). Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools (ex: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation). Experience with containerization technologies (ex: Docker, Kubernetes). Strong understanding of networking concepts and security best practices in the cloud environment. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools for cloud-based systems. Knowledge of scripting and automation using languages (ex: Python, Bash, PowerShell). Understanding of database management systems. Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies. Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
