Our newest opportunity is for a talentedSenior Carbon Specialistto join our- winning team based inLisbon, Portugal(we are flexible to have this role to be based in either Lisbon or Porto). This position is responsible for designing decarbonization strategies and Net-Zero roadmaps, including policy white papers, government procedures, and energy transition monitoring tools. ResponsibilitiesWe envisage success in this role to include;Conducting Carbon Counting for Scope 1, 2, and 3 based on GHG Protocol. Setting Carbon Reduction Targets based on Science Based Targets Benchmarking. Identifying and evaluating opportunities to achieve energy, GHG, and resource reductions. Consulting clients across the supply chain focusing on Energy Efficiency, Energy Demand Side Management, Energy Strategy, Policies, Frameworks, Circular Economy, and Net Zero Development. Developing energy framework programs, climate action plans, strategies, performance targets, and policies for our clients. Providing technical expertise and preparing templates to implement energy management and asset management systems, such as ISO 50001 and ISO 55001. Responsible for market research, drafting technical and commercial reports, and preparing presentations. Completing client deliverables and reports with the support of team members. Consulting ongoing projects across the power value chain, smart infrastructures, smart meters, digital grid, sustainability living programs, industrial energy symbiosis, renewable energy & storage integration, and electricity & water demand response. Proactively engaging new and existing clients with respect to business development. QualificationsTo be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include a minimum of 5 yearswork experience in Carbon Management Sectorpartnered with aBachelors Degree preferably in Architectural or Mechanical. Potential candidates should have strategic thinking with an understanding of energy policy/regulatory frameworks.
