In our recruitment and training consultancy we work with different firms in the Luxury, Premium and High Premium sectors around Europe and have offices in Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Milan, Munich, Braga and Amsterdam.
JOB DESCRIPTION of the Senior Accountant: Manage all accounting transactions;Publish financial statements in time;Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings;Reconcile accounts payable and receivable;Ensure timely bank payments;Compute taxes and prepare tax returns;Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements;Report on the company's financial health and liquidity;Audit financial transactions and documents;Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary;Comply with financial policies and regulations.RequirementsProfessional experience as an accountant (between 8 and 10 years);Excellent knowledge of portuguese accounting regulations and procedures, including generally accepted accounting principles;Practical experience with accounting software;Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, including Vlookups and pivot tables;Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills;Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree;Fluency in English (required).If you think to be the right person for this job opportunity, please send us your CV!
