The position is based in the north of Portugal (Braga district).In our recruitment and training consultancy we work with different firms in the Luxury, Premium and High Premium sectors around Europe and have offices in Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Milan, Munich, Braga and Amsterdam.JOB DESCRIPTION of the Senior Accountant:Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable;Produce accounting reports and present their results;Analyze financial information and summarize financial status;Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending;Provide technical support and advice on Management Accountant;Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures;Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process;Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule;Assist with tax audits and tax returns;Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance;Support month-end and year-end close process;Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls;Liaise with our Financial Manager and Accounting Manager to improve financial procedures.Requirements Professional experience as an accountant (between 8 and 10 years);Excellent knowledge of portuguese accounting regulations and procedures, including generally accepted accounting principles;Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process;Practical experience with accounting software;Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, including Vlookups and pivot tables;Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills;Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree;Fluency in English (required).If you think to be the right person for this job opportunity, please send us your CV!At Luxe Talent we want to help you achieve your goals, that's why we offer you the most interesting job opportunities in the Fashion, Retail, Luxury and FMCG market.#J-18808-Ljbffr
