As a Scrum Master you will assist the Scrum team to ensure value is delivered to our customers, as well as scrum/agile methodologies are applied on a daily basis. Work closely with the Product Owner and support him in some of its activities in order to guarantee the correct functioning of the team. Work closely with the Development team to use the practices that will allow them to deliver value to the customers at the end of each Sprint, removing impediments to the team's progress. Acts as a coach for the Scrum team, stimulating self-organization and developing their skills. You will also be responsible for ensuring that Scrum is being understood and used, both inside and outside the team. Adaptability, motivation and energy, good soft and coaching skills and willingness to learn and teach, are key factors for success. Responsibilities: Assist the rest of the Scrum team to follow their process. Ensures that Scrum is applied on a daily basis. Work with the Product Owner to help him understand how to create and maintain the Product Backlog. Work with the Development team to find and implement the practices / techniques that will allow them to get the job done at the end of each Sprint. Works with the entire Scrum team to evolve the Definition of Ready. Remove impediments to the team's progress. These impediments can be external, such as the lack of support from another team, or internal, such as the Product Owner not knowing how to prepare the Product Backlog. Stimulates self-organization. Acts as a coach for the Scrum team, helping to execute the Scrum process. Helps them work together and learn the Scrum Framework, protects them from both internal and external distractions. Facilitate meetings, help keep the team on track, in order to be productive, and develop their skills. Ensure that Scrum is being understood and used, both inside and outside the team. Helps people outside the team to understand the process and to understand which interactions with the team are useful and which are not. Help everyone improve to make the Scrum team more productive and valuable. Support the product owner in some of its activities in order to guarantee the correct functioning of the team. Evolve the maturity of Agile in the organization, working together with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches. Main requirements 2+ years of professional experience as a Scrum Master Degree in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent (other areas can be accepted) Preferably, Scrum Master Certification: minimum CSM (Certified Scrum Master) from Scrum Alliance or PSM I (Professional Scrum Master level I) from Scrum.org Experience with Agile methodologies Knowledge / Experience in coaching and mentoring techniques Experience as a facilitator (e.g.: workshops) Experience using Canvas (Product Vision Board, Validation Board, Value Proposition, Business Model, Product Roadmap, and User Story Map, among others) Knowledge of Scrum/Kanban workflow tools (e.g. Jira, Trello, etc.) Knowledge of collaborative tools (e.g. Sharepoint, Confluence, Slack, etc.) Knowledge of divergent and convergent thinking tools (e.g. Miro, Mural, etc.) Experience with visual management tools (e.g. Kanban boards) and agile metrics Experience in establishing agile product management practices Knowledge / Experience with scaled agile methodologies (preference) Highly motivated and willing to learn Good communication skills and interpersonal relationships to align and involve people Work as a servant leader and teamwork Problem-solving skills.
