Bondalti is recruiting a Senior Research and Development Technician (m/f) to strengthen its Research and Development team at the Estarreja site.
Main responsibilities: Identify and develop technological solutions, drawing on advanced knowledge of scientific principles, theory and experimental design in adjacent scientific disciplines;
Developing and supporting the implementation of technical solutions, whether recurring or new, which allow for practical experimentation/resolution of problems and/or processes;
Promoting internal technological training, as well as managing, strengthening and collaborating with external knowledge networks;
Collaborate, act and develop work in multidisciplinary project teams in order to be able to provide technical information and deliver results in line with those desired;
To carry out technological and scientific surveillance, ensuring that all technologies and scientific developments in the area are monitored;
Prepare, control and submit RDI projects in co-partnership with other entities;
Monitoring and managing projects and students on ongoing research grants;
Actively contribute to a culture of innovation and creativity in the company, using technology watch activities as support.
Requirements and Skills: Master's or PhD in Chemical Engineering or equivalent;
Proven and relevant experience in applied Research & Development;
The candidate must demonstrate solid knowledge of analytical methods and the use of statistical analysis and procedural simulation tools;
Experience in monitoring/managing projects and financing will be highly valued;
Good verbal and written communication skills in both Portuguese and English. You will need to be able to communicate results and progress to technical and management teams;
Ability to work independently and deliver projects;
High motivation to investigate and persevere in the face of challenges;
Leadership and interpersonal skills. You should be able to create partner relationships with teammates and stakeholders from different backgrounds.
