Quality Product Manager, Aeronautical Area (Portuguese Speaker) Location: Grandola, Portugal Salary: To be discussed Job Description Develops, implements, and evaluates production operations from a strategic quality perspective to ensure that products meet quality, integrity, functionality, and customer & regulatory specifications We are working exclusively with a fantastic engineering company going through a period of sustained growth and investment. They are now looking for an experienced Quality Product Manager due this increasing demand. The Quality Product Manager will facilitate the introduction of continuous improvement methodologies, working with production teams to analyse and improve current processes and procedures through the application of continuous improvement methodologies. You will be developing and maintaining measures of the success of changes implemented, engaging the workforce at all levels to gain commitment and understanding of business changes. The Quality Product Manager will implement standardised working methods to reduce process variability and ensure high quality process control and support the development of staff to enable and encourage a culture of quality. A key part of this role is to assist the Supply Chain Team to resolve any potential technical or product quality issues through technical/process improvement at suppliers. We are looking for a quality product manager with knowledge of statistical analysis, process capability and problem resolution tools (8D, 5 Why, 6 Sigma etc.) and techniques. Requirements At least 1 year of previous experience as a quality product manager or in a similar position Practical experience of quality management products and test methods Thorough understanding of technical documents Good knowledge of statistical analysis Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Team player Good analytical skills Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or equivalent field
