You'll be one of the early employees when we scale our business and revolutionize the insurance industry for contractors and SMEs. Our tech stack : TypeScript, React, React Native, Python, Ruby, Postgres, RabbitMQ, Google Cloud About the Role: As a QA Software Engineer, you will use cloud technologies to solve complex problems, design sophisticated solutions, and build high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the technical skills required to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our systems. Responsibilities: Develop test plans, test specifications, test cases, and test scripts. Identify and document defects and inconsistencies. Work closely with development teams to ensure that defects are addressed and resolved efficiently. Participate in the development of automation scripts and tools for testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer support, to reproduce and troubleshoot customer-reported issues. Monitor and report on the overall quality. Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and methodology within the organization. Proactively identify potential quality issues and roadblocks, and develop solutions to address them. Maintain a deep understanding of the organization's products and their functionality, and use this knowledge to improve the quality of the products. Input all documented data conditions to execute test cases. Analyse test results to ensure quality standards are met and the software meets/exceeds documented business requirements. Main requirements Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field experience. Proven experience in software development and testing methods. Knowledge of QA processes and methodology. Familiarity with automated testing tools and techniques. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and document defects. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Nice to have You'll stand out if you: Have experience in software testing and QA Automation or programming experience (JavaScript, Ruby, Python, React, etc) Have experience with Robot Framework, Selenium, etc to write automated and performance tests. Have experience or knowledge with: GUI, Microservice, and API testing on scalable enterprise web-based applications Webservice technologies (REST, Postman, etc) and HTML, CSS & xPath SQL and other database familiarity CI/CD tools for build deployments Have a clear understanding of software development practices and life cycles.
