Req ID Ponte de Lima, Portugal We are looking for a new colleague to strengthen our Engineering Team in Ponte de Lima, Portugal Main accountabilities, responsabilities and deliverables: Managing projects with a certain complexity (scaling tbd – will determine "size" of role); Leading (interdisciplinary) project teams and ensuring their effectiveness and development; Act as a link between internal & external customer, supplier, partners and departments; Organize and prepare for meetings, gate reviews, decisions; Managing the project scope, time, budget, contracting and quality according to relevant standards (e.g. DG 05/11, DG 17/01); delivers the business case / profitability; Elaborate a project plan in alignment with the strategic goals and perform cross-departmental planning for all functions involved to meet the project targets and requirements; Managing risks, resolving problems / issues and managing baseline changes; Manage communication and stakeholder; Guarantee exchange of information between corporate functions, internal working groups to encourage knowledge transfer; Reporting & escalating to decision makers; Responsible to manage KPIs (profitability, expenditures, …) to target; Secure and negotiate team resources incl. team assignments, skill & experience requirements and provide performance feedback and development needs. Required skills and experience / main competences: Engineering degree or experience in automotive industry as Project Manager; Preferred PMP certification through PMI, Prince 2 or Agile; Ability to lead and motivate others; Familiar with international project management methodologies (i.e., agile); Knowledge of project-planning tools; Expertise in setting and managing customer expectations and interacting with senior leadership; Distinctive business, IT, financial and communication skills; Effective influencing and negotiating skills in an environment where this role may not directly control resources; Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence; Good understanding of technologies to drive (digital) business; Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a project & resource plan, incl. baseline change management; Intercultural working experience: Solid knowledge of English and Portuguese; Organizational Change Management Why you should join us?
