Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Project Manager will be responsible for managing and leading the project team in order to achieve the project Quality Delivery Cost (QDC) objectives. The main responsibilities will include:
Manage and lead the project team to realize the project Quality Delivery Cost (QDC) objectives (estimate, plan and track the project development activities).Take ownership of customer and project issues and work closely with team for resolution.Provide avenue to work with other teams (local and other countries and regions) when needed.Make recommendations to prevent problems and manage potential risks when necessary.Develop and utilize project timelines for project tasks and ensure target dates are met for multiple projects.Provide necessary documents for each project milestone release and ensure project status are communicated timely to all stakeholders.Support RFI/RFQ activities in providing feasible work breakdown, manpower planning, and development schedule.Requirements Engineering degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent, you have at least 3 years' experience as a project manager or similar roles in the automotive industry.A strong experience in managing automotive related project is essential.You demonstrate a strong ability to manage the different phases of the project life cycle, budgets, contracts, schedule, etc.You show great knowledge in the areas of product development processes and quality assurance.You show great knowledge of IATF16949.You have excellent interpersonal, leadership, planning, and organizational skills.You are fluent in written and spoken English, knowledge of German would be highly valued.You have the ability to prioritize and manage pressure.You have excellent communication skills that will enable you to adapt to a variety of contacts in Portugal and internationally at different levels of the organisation.You are culturally open and adaptable, enabling you to work in a flexible and changing environment.Why join our team?
