Start your future with BorgWarner now!Job purposeResponsible for supplier quality issues management.LocationViana do Castelo plant, PortugalResponsibilities:Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions regarding quality problems;Present quality problems in purchased parts to the respective suppliers;Monitor and maintain incidents in the system and ensure that they are completed within a defined time frame;Creation of CPM (Complaints on Purchased Material) to suppliersFollow-up of the 8D's from Suppliers for mitigation of quality issuesControl of the landscape of CPM's for the entire plantControl of the Quality Cage in the warehouseResponsibility of sorting raw material components with external sorting companiesEnsure the proper feedback is provided to the internal customer (Production) on suppliers actions and organization of replacement raw material in case of quality issues.Respect the safety and cleanliness rules at the workplace; Work in accordance with safety, quality, productivity, hygiene and environmental preservation standards.Qualifications:Technical diploma in quality areaBachelor's Degree (valued)Experience in similar position (valued)Knowledge about automotive quality toolsCommunications skillsInterpersonal relationship skillsPC literateFluent English level is requiredHigh level of knowledge in Portuguese language is requiredKey competencies:Customer focusAction OrientedInformingFunctional/Technical SkillsDrive for ResultsPriority Setting
