BySide is seeking a Product Designer to join our Engineering team.BySidehas grown from a 3-person startup in 2006 (before startups were cool!) to an 80+ person team, with the mission to improve our clients' marketing results through Lead Activation: the ability to maximise revenue from visitors on a website, app or landing page. We achieve this by building and applying our technology: a platform that offers a unique combination of a Marketing Cloud and a Cloud Contact Centre. Recently been acquired by the CoreMedia Group located in Hamburg (Germany).Our platform is directly integrated and used by companies all over the world: from banks, to some of the biggest retailers, telecommunication companies and call centres. We manage big data in real-time, handling more than 13.000 million pageviews and 12 million calls a year, providing services such as Click2Call, call tracking, inbound calls, IVRs, etc.As aProduct Designer, you'll be part of the engineering team, responsible for crafting the user experience and user interface of a product. Your goal is to create designs that are user-friendly, visually appealing, and functional, tailored to meet user needs effectively.Main ResponsibilitiesConduct user research to identify user needs, pain points, and behaviors to design products that meet those needs;Collaborate with POs to refine user stories and acceptance criteria, providing support in accepting the team's work;Create wireframes and prototypes to test and iterate on design concepts and ensure that the product meets user needs;Create visually appealing and consistent designs in collaboration with the Principal Visual Designer that reflect the product's brand and appeal to the target audience;Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Developers to ensure the design aligns with technical and business requirements;Prepare design documentation, including style guides, design specs, and design systems, to ensure consistent design across the product;Conduct user testing to gather feedback on the product's design and usability, making iterative improvements as necessary;Part of the (Scrum) Development team;Excellent communication skills in both Portuguese and English, spoken and written.Key RequirementsA degree with a specialisation in interface design, media design, visual design or communication design (or similar) and several years of professional experience in the UI / UX area;Strong analytical skills: able to quickly recognize connections and to translate them into user-centered concepts;As a prototyping professional, you have experience in implementing designs in Figma, Adobe XD, Axure, Sketch or similar software and improving them iteratively;Experience in working with UI style guides, design patterns and the application of human interface guidelines;Technical and methodological knowledge in user experience as well as a good understanding of personas, customer journeys and detailed concepts;Persuasiveness;Able to communicate effectively with stakeholders, manage time and resources effectively, stays up to date on design trends and tools.Additional RequirementsAbility to interact effectively with other teams and be a team player;Curiosity and interest in innovation and technology;Experience working in a modern agile software engineering environment.What We OfferA hybrid working model (remote + office)Flexible working hoursAn onboarding program to guide you through all the company's departmentsSeveral amenities and perksUnique office space in the historical centre of PortoAll the benefits of a large corporation combined with an informal and friendly environmentA commitment to your development (we enjoy sharing and learning), with a career plan and regular feedback (regular 1-1 meetings and performance reviews)Health insurance#J-18808-Ljbffr
