Product Design Engineer - Plastic Interior Trim (Siemens Nx)

Job Description: Product Design Engineer - Plastic Interior Trim (Siemens NX) Location : PTC Group offices in Oliveira de Azeméis, with availability for weekly or monthly trips to Leiria. Responsibilities: Use advanced knowledge in NX to design products (with an emphasis on interior trim plastic parts, including door panels and handles), ensuring the quality and efficiency of the process, as well as customer requirements. Work with subassemblies of parts, ensuring proper integration into the final product. Interact with the customer through meetings, project monitoring and identification of improvements to parts, ensuring customer satisfaction. Apply Design FMEA and APQP to guarantee product quality from the design phase to production. Demonstrate solid knowledge in GD&T and dimensional chain to ensure product accuracy and functionality. Requirements: Academic training in Engineering. Proven experience in advanced use of NX software for product design. Previous project experience for OEM Mercedes will be highly valued. Experience in interior plastic parts design (like door panels and handles). Experience working with subassemblies of parts and understanding assembly processes. Proven ability to interact with customers, including participation in meetings, project monitoring and managing expectations. Knowledge and application of Design FMEA and APQP.
