Job Description: Process Engineer - Continuous Improvement (Assembly Lines) Location: Viana do Castelo PTC is looking for a qualified professional to occupy the position of Process Engineer - Continuous Improvement (Assembly Lines) in a leading company in products for the automotive industry (TIER 1), located in Viana do Castelo. Its efficient technological solutions cover light, medium and heavy vehicles and off-road applications, contributing to clean propulsion and efficient technologies. Responsibilities: Piloting, planning and coordination of the assigned project Lead meetings with multidisciplinary teams (Quality, Process Engineering, Product and Production) Analysis and Mapping current situation of production processes. Analysis of anomalies and performance losses (OEE) Detection of opportunities and development of lines of improvement Responsible for the creation and adaptation of assembly ranges. Productivity and balanced jobs Responsible for defining the media functional and the flows to be implemented (Layout) Identify industrial-level needs for each position Time management of manufacturing ranges (Analysis and measurement of MTM times) Implementation and execution of improvement proposals Creation of CdC Cargo notebooks, Request for Supplier Offers, start-up, etc. Visual Management and KPI management in shoofloor Requirements: Training as a Higher Technician, Industrial Degree or similar Experience between 3-5 years in this position or similar function Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools, Continuous improvement, Six sigma, Quality systems, Problem solving Valuable Knowledge of methods and technologies for assembling metal parts Previous experience as a process engineer (assembly lines, sheet metal processing, assembly stations, Robotic Islands, etc.). Valuable MTM 1 and MTM 2 Course Use of MS Office and MS Project English Language (Medium); portuguese or spanish native.
