It is our goal to embed the concept of privacy in the way Ferring does business. Our Global Privacy Policy makes the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) the common standard for all Ferring entities globally. You will contribute to the continuous development of our data protection framework by e.g., supporting the business in setting up privacy compliant processes and solutions.In order to raise awareness and manage local implementation, a network of 30+ privacy ambassadors has been established. As part of the Global Privacy Office, you will work with this network and provide training and guidance as needed to further drive implementation of our privacy program globally.Your day at Ferring Reporting to the Head of Global Privacy in Denmark, you will be trained depending on your background. An introduction to the different tasks will be provided during the onboarding and training period. Your responsibilities will be:Support the Global Data Protection Officer and Global Privacy Office in the execution of compliance with data protection regulations, as well as the implementation of privacy related policies, projects, and initiatives across Ferring and jurisdictions.Raise awareness on internal privacy procedures and privacy topics to develop a privacy-aware working culture and create guidance on key concepts.Support in managing, investigating, and responding to data breaches, data subjects' requests, and complaints, ensuring timely response and compliance documentation.Acting as point of contact for business units and functions regarding records of processing, drafting of privacy notices, data processing agreements (DPAs) and general privacy guidance and support.Monitor regulatory updates and official guidance, EU national data protection laws and other applicable global regulations including AI.Maintain the privacy management tool including records of processing, Transfer Impact Assessments (TIA), and other relevant privacy assessments.Manage calendars, organise meetings as well as taking meeting minutes.Collaborate, network and conduct training for the Global Privacy Ambassador Network.Strive for the implementation of the privacy by design principle in existing and new business operations and activities.Embrace and implement opportunities to rethink how services are provided, focusing internal expertise on complex, high value matters, and automating, streamlining, or outsourcing high-volume, lower complexity matters, and using data to drive continuous improvement in services.The Global Privacy Office manages the global privacy program across the Ferring Group in all countries except the US with whom Global Privacy cooperates on matters of mutual interests. The privacy team consists of 3 dedicated privacy professionals and you.Joining a business support function, it is important that you are comfortable reaching out to relevant stakeholders and establishing relationships. This means you should have strong collaboration skills and enjoy working with stakeholders globally and cross-functionally.The ideal candidate would be a recent graduate who could hold a variety of degrees from Business, Law, IT, or related field and has some professional experience from internships etc.You must be proficient in the Microsoft Suite and speak and write English fluently.Most importantly, we are looking for an individual that is a quick learner and can adapt to the role. We are looking for someone, who is execution focused and independent in providing high quality deliverables.
