We are looking for an objective oriented, highly motivated, and experienced Operational Director to lead and guide the future of the company. As immediate challenge and in close articulation with the leader, you will contribute to orchestrate a group of diverse entities and coordinate the successful execution of the ambitious, of the Portuguese NextGenerationEU Program (PRR), with multiple R&D+i projects involving several tens of partners. In parallel, you will lead strategy definition and take action to drive the company to become the relevant stakeholder representing the energy ecosystem and recognized in the Portuguese and international landscape. You will lead a team of motivated talent, that coordinate overall planning, execution and in-time report and promotion, ensuring successful completion within defined timeframes, budgets and quality standards. The ideal candidate should have a strong background and experience in technology and innovation, excellent leadership skills, experience in large consortium environments and the ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams from different entities, including corporations, SMEs, Universities, R&D+i Institutes, StartUps, etc. How You'll Make An Impact Lead and manage the Office, promoting and ensuring the adoption and adherence to best practices, methodologies, and tools. Provide operational guidance and support to the office operational team. Develop the strategic medium-to-long term guidelines for the establishment of the company ecosystem in order to make it relevant at National and European level. Build and maintain strong relationships with Associates and other stakeholders. Continuously identify and evaluate opportunities of cooperation for development of the company. Qualifications and Skills Master's degree in engineering and/or in management. Minimum of 3 years work experience as Director/Head/Senior management positions in energy R&D+i and Product development contexts involving companies and R&D entities in high-relevance projects. Experience and solid comprehension of the energy sector is very relevant. Proved leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively represent the Association and engage stakeholders at all levels.
