Position Overview: As a Mid-Level Software Testing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications and mobile solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to design and execute comprehensive testing strategies, identify defects, and verify the functionality and performance of our software. Responsabilities: Collaborate with development and design teams to understand project requirements and create test plans and strategies. Design, develop, and execute test cases and test scenarios for applications and mobile solutions. Perform manual and automated testing to verify functionality, usability, performance, and security. Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools. Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring timely and effective resolutions. Conduct regression testing to ensure the stability and integrity of the software after changes or updates. Work closely with product managers to ensure that user requirements are met and the software meets quality standards. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and quality assurance. Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies. Provide clear and concise reports on test results, defects, and overall software quality to stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and address critical issues in a timely manner. Main requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Software Testing Engineer, with a focus on apps and mobile testing. Strong knowledge of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices. Experience in designing and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test plans. Proficiency in manual and automation testing techniques and tools. Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Appium, Selenium, Xcode, Android Studio). Solid understanding of mobile platforms (iOS, Android) and their respective guidelines and standards. Experience in testing native and hybrid apps. Ability to analyze requirements, identify potential risks, and create effective test strategies. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
