Chief Operating Officer / Executive Search Consultant at Morgan PrestwichThis is a unique opportunity to join a fast growing and dynamic biotech, in a role executing four early phase studies in new indications across their rare inflammatory disease portfolio. Our client is a science led organisation with outstanding senior leadership. They are well funded, with a significant cash runway and a buoyant share price post listing.
The Medical Director, Clinical Development will serve as the medical lead for these clinical development programs and as a medical advisor to the Executive team and all internal functions regarding clinical development activities.
Key Selection Criteria: MD qualified is preferred, but a degree is Life Sciences can be considered for those with the right level of experience.A minimum of 5 years professional experience in clinical research, within a biotech or pharmaceutical company.Ideally you will have experience in any of Dermatology, Rheumatology, Inflammatory diseases.Experience of regulatory drug development requirements in the US and EU markets.Previous experience of interactions with national authorities such as EMA and FDA is highly desirable.Demonstrated ability to independently evaluate, interpret and present complex scientific data data and an ability to critically evaluate complex drug development programs.Good organisational and planning skills.Strong communications skills (both written and spoken) with a strong command of the English language.Location: The company operates a hybrid working model, but there is a requirement to be present at the company's office in Porto, Portugal a minimum of 2 days a week.

*The company can offer a contract in Portugal only, therefore you would need to be based in Portugal or be willing to relocate.
