The module is fully responsible for the competences, design, specification, and documentation of the hub. This includes design and analysis from the early concept study for new turbines to the final specification for production. Additionally, we are also looking ahead to verify new technologies such that these can be part of future turbine project. The Hub team is also providing technologies in the areas of hub design and service. You will join a very international team, that is in India, Denmark, and Portugal. We live the Vestas values: Accountability, Collaboration, Simplicity and Passion which form the backbone for our culture of striving for world class.ResponsibilitiesDesign and specify Hydraulic systems and components, hose routing and schematics in close collaboration with other HUB Sub-Module and according to requirements and specificationsImprove existing hose and hose assembly designs to reduce costProvide technical support to customers, commercial team and productionDesign experimental prototype hose and fittings for testing and validationQualificationsBachelor / Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural or similar3-5 years of experience in within engineering, production, supply chainExperience in analytical calculation and FEA, ANSYS (Workbench)Experience in 3D modelling and 2D drawingsGood knowledge on practical aspects of Hydraulics and good knowledge in hydraulic in overallSimulation & Optimization of Hydraulic Systems in Matlab/SimulinkCompetenciesGood skills in English, both written and verbalCapture engineering requirements, define and control project scope with deliveries on time and with qualityGood problem solving skillsCreative approach to new opportunities, a natural ability for innovation and thrive with varied tasks and constant changes from day to dayResult oriented with a solid focus on the task and to be able to meet the deadlines with the right qualityTeam spiritWhat we offerWe offer an exciting job with great opportunities for professional and personal development in an inspiring environment at the energy industry's global partner on sustainable energy solutions.
