Keyrus is seeking aJunior PySpark Developer to join our dynamic team for an excitingmigration from SAS Data Integration Studioto PySpark. This initiative aims to leverage PySpark's capabilities, fostering innovation and efficiency within a large-scale data processing environment.
Your Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with the team to migrate existing functionalities from SAS DIto PySparkDevelop and maintain PySpark-based solutions aligned with project objectivesOptimize data pipelines and algorithms for improved efficiency and performanceTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to PySpark data processingDocument code, processes, and solutions for knowledge sharing and future referenceAbout You: Professional experience withPySpark (1 - 2 years)Knowledge ofprogramming languages such as Python or Scala
Knowledge of SQL languageProblem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Fluent in English (French is a plus)Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or having a work permit for PortugalNice-to-have: Knowledge of SAS DIPrevious experience in data migration projects
Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and data processing techniquesFamiliarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP for data processing
