What you'll do: Your role is to support the Business Performance Manager as part of a small team that is the key insights & capabilities partner to our commercial General managers and functions. You will use your analytical skills and commercial acumen leveraging Power BI to influence stakeholders in financial and business decision making. You will work within International commercial team – a team made up of individuals across various functions - finance, sales, marketing, R&D covering countries including France, Germany, Denmark, Canada, Australia, China and the UK.
What you'll do: Enhancing and maintaining the Management Information (MI) infrastructure using modern Business intelligence software (Microsoft Power BI) and working with a relationship-based database (SQL) to provide a wide range of flexible analysis and reports.Maintain reporting of revenue and product performance across the international arena, ensuring the underlying data reconciles to the reported numbers.Working closely with the General Managers and multilevel Commercial managers to provide insight into sales performance and forecasting future performance.Work collaboratively with commercial and operational teams to develop business cases and model scenarios, such as building innovation P&Ls, exploring new promotional mechanics, and evaluating the impact of commodity pricing.Analyse market performance from revenue growth, margin, and profitability point of view.Sales Performance – work with markets to drive Power rankings on market/territory level performance.Analyzing key performance indicators to assess the health and success of current business operations.Identifying areas for continuous improvement and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives.Demonstrate bold curiosity by identifying trends and proactively presenting key findings and recommendations to the commercial teams.Ad hoc projects and assignments.Travel required to extent of 10% of the working time.What we need: Bachelor/Master's Degree in Business, Finance or similar.1-3 years business partnering experience in a similar role.Skills: Strong communication skills as you will interact with internal stakeholder around the globe, senior leadership as well as external consultants.Strong analytical skills interpret, analyse, and draw logical conclusions based on facts and figures presented in graphs and tables.Financial acumen.Self-starter, self-disciplined and target focused but able to work in a team environmentAble to demonstrate drive, passion, and flexibility.Work well under pressure.Possess integrity and honesty.Eager to learn, develop and grow.Language: English written/spoken.German/French an upside but not mandatory.Systems: Microsoft 365; Proficient in Power BI and Excel a must (DAX, VBA, Power Query).Oracle ERP an upside but not mandatory.
