What you'll do You will contribute to the development and enhancement of distributed, event-driven, high-volume messaging systems for an infrastructure with high availability in several globally networked data centers. You will play a pivotal role in the entire software lifecycle - from design to deployment - with a primary focus on development. You will closely work with cross-functional teams following agile principles. Your responsibilities will also include providing technical assistance for integration and rollout within the developed solution design/environment. Main requirements What you'll need University degree in Computer Engineering/Science or equivalent education. Career changers with a passion for IT are welcome. Deep knowledge of object-oriented software development using Java and proficiency in common frameworks and libraries. Experience with REST APIs, microservices, (no-)SQL databases, distributed computing with stream-processing and queueing. Proficiency with Docker, CI/CD, and Linux. Enthusiasm for adopting and adapting to new technologies. Good proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Nice to have Knowledge of German language is a plus.
