The Role This role and the team will be located in Lisbon (flexible working mode). You will lead the overall vision and direction for our design strategy, ensure that everything we deliver is intuitive, user-centric and easy. We are looking for someone who is humble, hungry and smart; with a strong track record in an integrative design role between product and technology teams at product-led growth companies.
What you will do: • Lead the product design domain, drive our product design strategy and plan our UI-UX and user research roadmap;
• Deliver products that are well-designed and data-centric;
• Envision and drive our UX maturity journey;
• Enhance our product design quality through training, collaboration and the promotion of a full circle user experience design process;
• Build and expand the design team, drive high-quality designs and develop the required skillsets;
• Mentor the team to achieve design excellence.
Requirements What you will bring: • At least 6+ years of experience in UI, UX and User Research Design, including 2-3 years as Head of Design or similar position leading high-performing design teams;
• Experience in building shared design systems, being hands-on with UI, UX and User Research strategies for people, processes, and products;
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud apps, especially InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as Sketch for digital and web UI designs;
• Familiarity with project management and tracking tools, such as Asana, Zeplin, Miro or Figma;
• Excellent communication skills (fluent in English, both written and spoken), with a self-motivated and autonomous mindset.
