.We are looking for an experiencedHead of Application Securityto lead our Application Security team. This is a position of great responsibility, with direct report to the Group CISO, that will oversee theApplication Security Centre of Excellence, which works to ensure that Körber Group products and services are created and offered in line with Cyber Security best practices and market regulations.As theHead of Application Security Centre of Excellence, you will play a vital role in defining the overall security strategy and architecture of new products, ensuring compliance with security guidelines, internal policies, and market best practices. You will lead and manage a team of Security Architects, providing guidance and support on security topics, and ensuring that security aspects are considered throughout the development process and lifecycle of projects and products.To be successful as the Head of Application Security Centre of Excellence, you should have expert leadership and management skills, in-depth knowledge of recognized market standards and best Cyber Security practices, and be experienced with cloud technology, design patterns, containers, micro-services, CI/CD, and DevSecOps. Top candidates will also be excellent communicators, able to train and educate our staff in various Cyber Security topics.ResponsibilitiesDefine the overall security strategy and architecture of new products in accordance with the security guidelines and policies of Körber Group.Manage and mentor a team of Security Architects.Ensure that security aspects are considered throughout the development process and lifecycle of projects and products.Provide guidance and support to the team on security topics.Train and educate staff in various Cyber Security topics.Establish and enforce the application security policies, standards, and guidelines, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and frameworks.Monitor and analyze the application security posture and performance, and report on the security metrics and KPIs.Build and maintain relationships with other teams, such as development, QA, operations, and product, and provide security training and awareness programs.Research and evaluate emerging security trends, threats, and technologies, and recommend appropriate solutions and improvements.Work on the continuous improvement of the secure software development lifecycle.QualificationsA degree in computer science or a comparable course of studies.Several years of experience in application security, or in a similar leadership role.Expert knowledge of application security principles, practices, and methodologies, such as OWASP, NIST, and ISO.In-depth knowledge of recognized market standards and best Cyber Security practices.Experience with cloud technology, design patterns, containers, micro-services, CI/CD, and DevSecOps.Excellent leadership and management skills.Fluent in English; German language skills would be a plus
