Mission of the Role:As a Global IT Business Continuity Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the resilience and continuity of our organization's IT operations in the face of disruptive events or crises. This position reports directly to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and is responsible for developing and implementing IT business continuity and disaster recovery strategies at a global scale. You will work to minimize the impact of unforeseen incidents, ensuring the organization can continue to function effectively, by working closely with the IT various departments. It's vital to have the ability to establish strong and effective relationships, while maintaining a sense of accountability and drive to change the status quo. Key Objectives of this Role: IT Business Continuity Planning:Develop and maintain comprehensive IT specific business continuity and disaster recovery plans, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals and objectives. Identify mission critical activities, critical systems, applications, and resources, and establish strategies to ensure their uninterrupted operation in the event of disruptions or disasters. Conduct thorough business impact analyses (BIAs), determining recovery time objectives (RTOs) and recovery point objectives (RPOs) for critical functions and systems. Create and maintain detailed documentation, including IT specific recovery procedures, contact lists, and resource inventories, to support the execution of the IT business continuity plans. Implement a governance structure for the IT business continuity program, including defining roles and responsibilities for key IT personnel. Facilitate regular meetings and collaboration with IT teams to ensure their active involvement in plan development and maintenance. Conduct tabletop exercises and simulations to test the effectiveness of IT business continuity plans and identify areas for improvement. Continuously evaluate and update IT business continuity plans to address changes in the organization's IT infrastructure, technology, or business operations
